The NOPD is investigating a double shooting on Canal Street early Sunday that left one man dead.
The victims were shot in the 1500 block of Canal shortly after 3 a.m.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene while the other was rushed to University Medical Center with multiple wounds.
The two were found in a parking lot.
